School-wide Goals
The school site council (principal, staff, and parents) and teachers work collaboratively on school-wide goals each year to help keep our instructional practices and parent support focused on the needs of our students so that they can be at their best and thrive.

  • Students will develop, monitor, and reflect on goals with the support of parents and teachers in order to encourage student responsibility and executive functioning skills. The goals should promote a growth mindset and hold students accountable for their learning.
  • All students will engage in a literacy program across all curricular areas that are personalized, balanced, and challenging.
  • All students will advance towards grade-level math standards and achieve their highest potential using conceptual, computational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Staff, parents, and students will participate jointly in community and learning events in order to support a positive school culture that teaches, models, and reinforces appropriate social-emotional behaviors.
