I have been working with children since I was 12 years old. I began coaching soccer and working for the YMCA summer camps. I attended University of the Pacific and received my teaching credential for general education and special education. I stayed at University of the Pacific and earned my Masters in Education. I have worked in districts in the central valley and silicon valley. I began at Almond in 1999 teaching 5th grade. I taught general education for 18 years and moved to being the resource specialist 4 years ago. I love working in special education because you have long term relationships with the students as you support them the entire time they are at Almond. Personally, I am the mother of 3 wonderful daughters, and we have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My family and l love to be outside and go boating and to sporting events. We love soccer!!!
