Teaching has been my calling since I was a 4th grader. I knew that I wanted to change lives and support every student that walked through my classroom doors, just like my inspirational teachers did for me in my school career. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and knew that I eventually wanted to end up teaching here  someday. I received my BA in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Human Development from CSUMB. I returned back to the Bay Area when I decided to work towards earning my Masters of Arts in Teaching with my Multiple Subject Credential from Santa Clara University. I was lucky enough to be a student teacher at LASD and eventually got hired on! I knew from the first time stepping onto Almond Campus, meeting my mentor teachers, that I wanted to make it my home away from home! I am so lucky to be a part of the LASD Family and cannot wait to continue supporting all students that walk into my classroom! In my spare time, I love to go on adventures to the beach and mountains with my loved ones.
