Information Gathering Meeting re: new principal

Part of the process of identifying leaders in Los Altos School District is gathering information from the variety of constituencies involved in our schools and district.Tuesday, February 27th at 7:00pm, I will be holding a meeting to gather input from the parent community regarding the selection of a new principal for Almond and LASD.  As parents of current Almond students, you have a unique perspective that we value in making our decision for future LASD leadership. Prior to making this decision, it is important for me to hear your thoughts regarding Almond School’s needs, as well as your aspirations for the school.  We will also be speaking to the Almond School staff, in addition to evaluating the needs of Los Altos School District as a whole.

Before our meeting on Feb. 27th please take some time to think about:

  • What makes Almond School unique?
  • What do you want for your children and other Almond children over the next 5-7 years?
  • What are important characteristics for the next principal?
