Stephanie
Your Kindergartner is welcome to take Spanish as long as somebody from the Y assumes responsibility for taking the child to and from the Spanish classroom.

How do I sign up for Spanish? Can my Kindergarten student take the class, too - she's at the Y after school and would like to go with her sister. We have taken classes with Let's Play in Spanish before.

A big production which requires a lot of time and commitment from the students and parents.

The productions are quite good for an elementary level. I wonder at times if such elaborate productions are needed...seems like it is more for the adults! haha The kids are fine with basic productions.

A fun program for my kids. This isn't a "formal" vocal music class where proper breathing/diction etc.. is taught. The kids are expected to memorize a lot of songs. Mrs. Call could be a bit more organized at times but otherwise a nice job by Mrs. Call the director and Mr. Chan the piano accompanist. Thanks for Jane B from the PTA for organizing!

Our 3rd grade son has had a fantastic time in the chess club this year. He has learned chess fundamentals, as well as advanced moves and strategies. The competitive game playing opportunity creates a nourishing environment for kids to demonstrate their abilities, and to learn from teachers and peers in fast-paced gaming environment. The awards and trophies for performance provide important feedback and recognition, and help build self esteem.

We highly recommend and request that this club be continued next year and beyond.

This program was our son's favorite after-school activity, for the past two years. It is stimulating, challenging, and fun! The instructors are excellent, and it is both a great way to cement mathematical foundation and understanding, as well as a way of inspiring kids that are gifted in math to reach their full potential (and battle classroom 'boredom').

We really recommend that this program be continued next year and beyond.
