Box Tops for Education
To all those Almond families who so diligently look for, clip out, and bring in their “Box Tops for Education” coupons: we applaud you!! You are making a big difference in the school experience at Almond. Now we would like for everyone to join in and help with this easy and free way to bring funds to Almond. Look on all packaging (there are over 300 items) of products owned by General Mills such as Kleenex, Hefty, Ziploc, Total Cereal, Avery Paper Products, and Betty Crocker. Cut out the pink “Box Tops for Education” coupons and bring them in to Edward the Eagle in the school office. The coupons will be submitted to General Mills, and the Almond PTA will receive a check for the total value. The more coupons, the more money! It’s a simple and fun activity for your kids to get involved with.
Beautification Event
Do you enjoy seeing the colorful flowers blooming at Almond? Join us on Saturday, October 17th from 9:30-noon to help beautify Almond! We will be pruning, weeding, and doing general clean-up. No need to have a green thumb – there are many tasks that do not involve gardening. If possible, please bring your shovels, shears, and brooms. Light refreshments will be provided. If you cannot make it this time, we will be holding two more Beautification events this year. Questions? Contact Deby Pasturel at DeborahPasturel@yahoo.com.
Please Leave Fido at Home
Please remember that dogs are not permitted on the Almond campus during school hours. This includes both drop-off and pick-up times. Your cooperation is appreciated.
